Catholic Charities Bloomington, formerly known as Catholic Social Services, emphasizes life and dignity of each human person and their right and duty to participate in the larger community.
Within the framework of Catholic social teaching, Catholic Charities Bloomington works towards:
- protecting human life;
- promoting the awareness of human needs;
- providing human services.
Located at 635 N. College Ave., Catholic Charities Bloomington is an agency of the Secretariat (or department) for Catholic Charities and Family Ministries of the archdiocese of Indianapolis.
The agency serves the six counties in the Bloomington Deanery: Brown, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, Orange, and Owen.
