Founded more than 50 years ago, St. Bernadette Circle of the Daughters of Isabella is a society of Catholic women from the three parishes in Bloomington.
The D of I promotes the religious and social welfare of women as well as the advancement of good in the world.
Its fundraising, including a rummage sale held every June, benefits St. Elizabeth Home for Unwed Mothers in Indianapolis.
The circle also has several social events throughout
the year including a corporate Communion every April.
The circle meets on the first Tuesday of each
month at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.
