"Youth Masses" take place once a month at the regularly-scheduled Noon Mass on Sunday. At these Masses, many youth gather and are encouraged to take part in one of the ministries listed below.
Youth are also invited to join together downstairs following Mass for pizza, refreshments, and fellowship.
While everyone present at Mass participates in the community's worship of God, the following liturgical ministries exist to fulfill certain liturgical needs. Youth are encouraged to take part in one as needed.
- Greeters:
Welcome all fellow youth and families into the church! Talk to Jess or e-mail her at jrichers@indiana.edu.
- Readers:
Proclaim the Word of God! Talk to Patrick or email him if interested at ptbeane@indiana.edu.
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion:
Distribute the Sacred Body and Blood of Jesus. What an awesome gift! Talk to Stella or email her if interested at stchuck@kiva.net.
- Altar Servers:
Assist the priest at the alter during the Mass. Talk to Colin or e-mail colin.byard@gmail.com.
- Music:
Participate in the liturgy through song and praise. Cantors and instrumentalists are always needed! Talk to Loralee if interested or email her at lcculber@indiana.edu.
