Back to School...Back in Time
What was Bloomington like for Catholics when the school was founded?
Let's celebrate the founding of St. Charles Catholic School on its 89th anniversary, September 11, 2011!
Join the St. Charles History Committee, who will present stories about how the Sisters of Providence came to start the school. The committee will share with you our progress, exciting discoveries, and some of our digital archives, including images from the earliest convent diary and the 1920s school and parish scrapbook.
Welcome also guest speaker Cory Burger, Information and Research Manager at the Monroe County History Center, who will give us an idea of what Bloomington was like in the 1920s.
