Mass Schedule
Both Wednesday and Friday school Masses start at 8:30AM. Students are to report to homeroom at 8:15AM on Mass Days.
1. With the hope that more parents will be attending Mass, we are going to need more parking spots. So on Wednesdays and Fridays, students will report to the gym upon arrival. The cones will still be up and the traffic pattern will remain the same. This is just like the inclement weather drop off. If you are coming to Mass, we encourage you to sit with your child during the service.
2. Drop off times for Elementary students will change for Friday. All students need to report to school at 8:15 on Friday. At 8:15 the bell will ring and all children will report to class. The middle school children will maintain their regular schedule(since their Mass is on Wednesday). Elementary students will report to their homeroom, drop off their stuff and head over to Mass with their teachers.
3. It might make things easier, as we make this transition, for teachers to have a lunch count the day before a Mass day. We still need to report our lunch count by 9:30AM everyday, so it would be easier to have this count done the day before. We will be able to take attendance anytime we want, so not to worry about being counted tardy.
4. If you have a child who is serving Mass, they can be dropped off directly at the church at 8:15AM. .
5. If you have a child in the MIDDLE SCHOOL Folk Group, they should be dropped off and enter the church, through the High Street entrance, at 7:45 for rehearsal each Wednesday. If your child is in the ELEMENTARY Folk group, they should be dropped off at the High Street entrance, of the church, at 8:15AM, on the Fridays they sing. It is important that Folk Group members give their lunch order to their homeroom teacher the night before.
6. Often families schedule doctor appointments before school. If you have an appointment scheduled on a Mass morning and are going to be late, please drop your child off at church. The teacher can make note of the time and inform the office as the reason for the late arrival.
Just a reminder, the November 3rd Mass is an all school Mass. This means ALL children K-8 are to be present by 8:15AM.
