About Me
Salut! My name is Erin Moira Lemrow. I am originally from Michigan where I earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in Anthropology and Francophone Studies (the study of french speaking peoples all over the World!). I lived in Paris, France for a year where I attended the Universite de Paris IV-Sorbonne. I have also visited Canada, Morocco, Spain, Holland, England, New Zealand, Australia and Hawai'i. As a matter of fact, many of the places that I have visited have had very large French speaking populations and I was always so glad I had another language at my fingertips.
I bring to St. Charles not only my love of the French language but also my experience as a teacher. I taught French in Florida where I had a large number of Haitian Creole speaking students (we will study this group of francophiles this year!). While in Florida, my family and I attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stuart, Florida. I have also been an Associate Instructor of French at Indiana University from 2003-2005. I received my Master's degree in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education from Indiana University in December 2008.
In my free time, my husband and I and ALL the children raise Irish Connemara Ponies, the only native pony breed to Ireland!
