St. Charles Preschool-Mrs. Alexander

About Mrs. Alexander

I grew up in Evansville, In. I was one of five children of Ed and Clarice Schafer. My Dad was a dentist and my mom was a homemaker. I came to Indiana University with my high school sweetheart whom I subsequently married. We loved Bloomington so much that we decided to stay and make our home here.
My husband, Rick is the assistant city engineer for the city of Bloomington. We have three children, Erin, Brian and Robin. Erin Leake teaches third grade here at St. Charles School. She and her husband Travis, who works as a parking garage supervisor at I.U., are the parents of Sierra Leake, seven years old and Mason Alexander Leake who is five years old. Brian, our son, is an outdoor leadership specialist and has spent several summers in the Northwest leading teenagers on back country camping adventures. He currently works with the city of Bloomington in Parking Operations and was married in September to Brianna, a high school life skills teacher. Robin, our youngest, is a professional Nanny. She is married to Dan Henry who is a biology teacher at Brown County High School. They have three year old identical twin boys, Nash and Lyle and are expecting a new baby in August. Rick, myself, and all three children and sons and daughter in law are I.U. graduates. Guess who our favorite team is?
I am blessed with a wonderful husband, fantastic children, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, and a job I love. God has been good to me. I have been a member of St. Charles Parish for thirty years. You might see me on Sun. morning at 10:00 mass as a lector.
I have been at St. Charles Preschool since it opened twenty two years ago. We have grown together through the years and I am very proud of the program I have been priveleged to shape.

I can be reached by phone at school, 812-336-5853 ext.105 or home, 812-334-8135 or
email at talexander@stcharlesbloomington.org
I am very open to communication with parents at any time on any subject. No problem is too small and there is no such thing as a dumb question. I am here to serve you and your children.
